SRI SATHYA SAI ORPHANAGE TRUST is a non profit, voluntary organisation founded on 17 June, 1996 with the blessings of Sri Sathya Sai baba to help the needy and downtrodden in society. The trust which is registered as a charitable institution, has been functioning for the last nine years as an orphanage for destitutes and street children, named Sai Niketan. It brings up orphans, providing them adequate living environment and proper education. There is a network of Sai Niketan spaning five districts of Kerala.
